Hello Phiip, (or is it Philip?)

Anyhow, I sort of agree. As a Conservative Libertarian, I am not happy at all with the pork on this bill at all. But I do not wish to see the middle class punished, because a select few want to protect their jobs.

I agree on Michigan's Government. Oy. Talk about stupidity! Just look at Detroit. Anyhow, yeah, we need a change in this state, get rid of that bull dyke Governor and get someone in there that can run things.

Thanks for the comments.

"from the standpoint of someone who lives in a state where unemployment is higher than the rest of the country."
If yoy mean Michigan -- where I was born -- well, I went back up home this year to visit the family after several years hiatus. What a mess the state is in! Basically, however I think Michigan has gotten the government it deserves. If you will not take a stand and fight this is what you get. I had seriously thought of returning to Michigan, buying property and perhaps putting up a small business -- two to three employees. Not now. I am busy looking into opportunities for family members wanting to relocate to Florida. (Originally from Beaverton, MI) Bottom line is: Fight against this bill. If you must go down, go down fighting!
