Swearing is allowed, swearing at or insulting ME is not. Hence a swear filter, so, I can see what you're swearing about, After this is my place and you are a guest. So, I just make sure the crowd isn't getting too rowdy.
Disagreements are fine, but don't be stupid about it and use some intelligence to back your disagreement.
