First off, as a rule, I do not get myself involved with what other people write on their Blogs. I believe in freedom of speech, Freedom of Expression and so forth.
However, this morning, I happen to come across something that caught my eye. If you’re following the headlines, there is a woman who’s a columnist at the Tennessean. Her name is Gail Kerr. She wrote a piece on some Tennessee lawmakers who are pursuing the Obama birth certificate issue.
Now let me say from the outset that I respect her opinions; I do not agree with them, at all. However, I happen to read a blog reaction to what she had written over at pirate’s cove, which is owned by a one William Teach, who’s real name is Porter Good. As I suspected, it was of the usual Conservative affair, criticize the piece and take gentle pokes at the author. However, there was a small bit in this piece that I found to be most offensive and I thought I would blog about it, and possibly inform Mr. Teach, that there are others out there that read his Blog. The offending part is underlined:
After eight years of the Left accusing Bush of everything that they don’t blame on anthropogenic global warming, and sometimes they blame both, with little to no proof, lefties, still riding high on hopeNchange, and probably the fumes from their black velvet Obama paintings, just do not like it when anyone asks for simple proof of Obama’s citizenship. Mr. Teach, let me remind you sir, that there are people in this world, who are not of perfect physical condition. As someone who is overweight and has struggled with weight gain for my entire life. I found your crass, asinine, dig towards this woman’s weight to be totally uncalled for, over the top and quite frankly immature, and most unbecoming of a Conservative Blogger. While I wholeheartely agree with you on your assessment of B. Hussein Obama, I do not believe that the personal insult of this woman’s Physical appearance was even remotely needed in the context of this discussion.
While I realize that a Blogger of any sort of integrity would ‘Man Up” and apologize, I do not expect this of teach at all. As I have observed, he has spent the good part of his Blogger career, cheerleading for George W. Bush and kissing the ass of the Podhoretz clan; so, one can only expect so much.

It’s quite funny, when confronted with the truth, Neo-Con’s resort to playing the race card. Just like their Democrat counterparts. (There are those who would say that Democrats and Neo-Cons are one in the same, but that’s out of the scope of this discussion…) Identity Politics is such a tragic thing, on the left….. and the Right.

Obama’s stealing the census from Congress has suddenly awakened and enraged the Republicans. Maybe this will arouse them as well to challenge Obama for stealing the Presidency itself. They surely know he is not an Article 2 “natural born citizen” (which is more than merely being a 14th Amendment “citizen”) by virtue of either Obama’s birth to a dad of Kenyan/British citizenship or birth in Kenya itself — as manifested by his unwillingness to supply his long form birth certificate now under seal.

It should be noted that Porter Good, so eager to have others sign their own names, is clearly terrified to have his own name associated with his words.

Hey Meaty. See you crawled out from whatever rock you were trolling under, and now you’ve found some camaraderie here with Pat. I’m sure Pat will appreciate that like a bad case of raging herpes..
Personally, the “outing” of people’s real names on the internet, when they chosen to go by a pseudonym, just isn’t kosher people. For instance, if I new Meaty’s actual, real name, I wouldn’t post it. Or if I knew Paleo Pat’s given name, I wouldn’t post it. It sure as hell doesn’t add to your argument, if that is your point at all. Personally, I think people who are doing that are simply trying to “get back” at an adversary as opposed to vanquishing their opponents position or point.
And that’s exactly what is going on here. Paleo Pat riding in on the crap covered white-stallion, slinging crap at Teach because Teach slung crap at Kerr who slung crap at four Tennessee Republicans. If that was the mission, consider it accomplished. Bravo. Well done. Bravo.
Nah, I was simply pointing out a classless slam; nothing more, nothing less.
Further, Teach puts his real name on his own Blog in the About Me section.
Also… it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to find out my real name. If you wanted to know, you could find it rather easily.

If you wanted me to know your real name, I figure you’d either tell me or you’d go by it on your blog. Excellent point that Teach wasn’t exactly hiding his real name, yet you still felt the need to use it, perhaps because you didn’t like the “classless slam” coming from the cover of a pseudonym, perhaps that was your intention?
And from reading your blog, your “patriotic resistence” link, it looks like you have more in common with me (and probably Teach as well) than you do with Meaty. The only reason he’s even over here is that you struck back at Teach. Watch out for that little Troll. Every now and again he makes a coherent, thoughtful point, only for it to get washed out with his back tracked, side-stepping, demands for answers he agrees with.
And I hate that entire “neo-con” crap. Yes. I know that “paleo-cons” and “neo-cons” have their own wikipedia pages defining them, but the term “neo-con” has become such a cliche coming out of the mouths of the progressive movement and its following of zombies that it has lost any meaning it might have once had. Any one who is conservative just gets blindly labeled a neo-con now by the left more often now than not. I know you mentioned that this was a topic for another discussion, but I felt the need to interject my 2 cents…
