The point is that it is not “his White House.” It is the people’s house and he should treat the people’s ally with the respect that they deserve after all that the two nations have accomplished together.

Also, why throw out a canard like the colonization of Africa and the slave trade? Have you not heard of a little revolution we had here in the late 1700’s? We managed to patch things up and it seems that as the people’s President, Obama should look past any personal grudges and take care of the people’s business.

Returning the bust of Churchill is understandable but coming off as indifferent or as a naive diplomatic hack is unbecoming at the very least.
