That so-called torture, that you call it. Is the same crap that our Military is trained to resist. So, guess what? We Torture our Military to prepare for Battle.

Besides that, since when are Non-Uniformed Foreign combatants afforded protected by our AMERICAN Constitution or the Geneva Conventions? They’re not, nor have they ever been!

So it’s only OK to mention something like execution if you have the proper political opinion right? Say – the opinion of a conservative?

So if it’s in the name of protecting the troops, or some Jack Bauer-like “24″ emergency, it’s OK to torture and abuse prisoners right?

So in the name of protecting our way of life, it’s OK to quietly slip away with our liberties right?

I believe Miller was joking – not a very tasteful joke, I’ll agree. She probably needs to make this clear for the humor-challenged among us. But her comments were a lot less objectionable than some of the talk radio fascists who advocated executing Iraq War opponents. Some of them were serious.
