Unreal Ronnie Howard is just another Liberal tool. He’s come long way from his Opie Days:
Film director Ron Howard is “very optimistic” about the future of America, so long as the nation makes an “adjustment,” to fulfill his hope a “more progressive” nation will mean “at a certain point I don’t think we’ll be so consumed with being the pre-eminent super-power and, you know, driven by sort of militarism and this need to export, you know, democracy.” Howard’s reasoning, on Friday night’s Real Time with Bill Maher, came in response to Maher’s formulation that America has “seen better days. We’re sort of in place that has made a lot of people nervous. Some people would say this country has jumped the shark.”
Howard, who is out promoting ‘Angels & Demons,’ a sequel to ‘The Da Vinci Code,’ replied: “I’m a very optimistic person and I don’t want to feel like there isn’t growth, but there needs to be an adjustment anyway.” He proceeded to credit the insights he gained working on his movies with Europeans: “I’ve actually spent a lot more time in Europe and working with crew members and actors and understanding how they live and how they think.” Howard predicted “our lives are going to be better” because “we’re going to be more progressive.”

Its really funny how this blog really dumps on Ron Howard in negative ways who is pretty much an American icon in the same realms of Bob Hope..then you look down further and see an advertisement for his film that he directed “Nixon Frost”…..somewhat hypocritical behavior…all for the almighty dollar…just don’t sell your soul for cash !!!
I have zero control over advertisements. They’re all contextually based.
I object to celebrity bashing in any form. To me, it’s just social-climbing. Any damned fool can say Ray Charles was a lousy pianist, but very few masters can play the way he did. The inclusion of the “gay sex” snipe was over the top. Why didn’t the comment say he was a “nigger” or a “kike?” That’s in the same spirit. The blogger seems about as willing to admit errors as our President or the former one.
It’s called freedom of speech sir. Look it up.
How about a reasonable amount of “wisdom of speech?”
As far as the advertising being “contextually based”…then its even better that “Frost Nixon” just happens to appear within this blog..representing the Nixon mindset and what the right wing is all about.. as the universe has spoken out within your system and has cast its vote…Pro Oppie…good kid representing all the down home values and influencing millions for a lifetime…. I’m sure you have lived by some of those same values….its nice to see how Ron Howard evolved into a balanced person in all respects….
