  1. I’ve never read the “Perez Hilton’s” blog, although everyone I talk to seems to think he’s a big douche, and maybe he is.

    But I have a real problem with “don’t run your mouth or you’ll get the smack-down” ethic. I thought we left that behind in grade school. What you’re saying is, your right to criticize someone is limited by your ability to take him in a brawl.

    Is this a conservative principle? If I don’t like something Bill O’Reilly says and I say so publicly, he has a right to come over and punch me?
