One of the reasons why I do not use WorldNetDaily as a news source

WorldNetDaily, I have always felt; is the National Enquirer of Conservative News. Well, they have given me another reason to feel that way. They are reporting on an American Solider, who is refusing to reporting for duty, because he does not believe that President Obama is an American citizen.

Quote:

His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders.

“We won! We won before we even arrived,” she said with excitement. “It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate – and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!”

She continued, “They just said, ‘Order revoked.’ No explanation. No reasons – just revoked.”

Confederate Yankee is baffled:

I have no ready explanation for why the military would rescind his deployment orders, unless they plan to keep him stateside to begin a disciplinary investigation against him. Frankly, for the sake of our nation, I hope this is the case.

Because if the Pentagon allows soldiers to simply declare Obama an an illegitimate Command in Chief—as the article would have you believe—it would seem to set a precedent that would lead to chaos in the military, allowing service members to question all orders for the executive branch. It would be anarchy.

WorldNet Daily simply must have this wrong. The larger ramifications of the case being dismissed for the reasons alleged by the attorney are too terrible to consider.

John Cole, A blogger on the left, that I happen to respect; is a bit more direct:

This guy is going to get court-martial-ed so quickly, brutally, and publicly that it isn’t even funny, and his lunatic lawyer thinks they have won something. It hasn’t even occurred to them that the order to deploy was rescinded because they are about to hammer him with disciplinary action.

I think I tend to agree with John here. That this ol’ boy is about get put through the meat grinder with the Military. 😯 :hypnotized: 😮

  1. WorldNetDaily.com is the only accredited news source to continue to report in detail on the unresolved issue of Barrt Soetoro’s/Barack Obama’s eligibility under the Constitution to be a legitimate president. Major Cook is not the only military officer to have challenged Soetoro/Obama to prove his eligibility (Hollister vs. Soetoro a/k/a Obama,
U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, No. 09-5080
U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, No. 08-cv-02254
This is the case of retired Air Force Colonel Hollister who is on lifetime Presidential recall.)

Please note that both Major Cook and Colonel Hollister (like all current and retired federal employees (members of Congress, judges, FBI and Secret Service Agents, etc.) have sworn oaths to defend and protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign or domestic – and not oaths of fealty to Soetoro/Obama. You might look to Honduras for an example of how other members of a government defend their constitution against someone acting unconstitutionally. It would be better if Soetorobama shows his papers voluntarily. If he is qualified, the issue goes away. If he continues to refuse, he personally will bear the primary responsibility for what is likely to follow, although others who failed to follow their sworn duties may get “caught up” in those consequences.

  2. WorldNetDaily.com is the only accredited news source

    Accredited?!?!?! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAW!

You mean, Joe Farah, the washed up Newspaper editor, who resigned in disgrace for running a good newspaper into the ground, out in California?

    You mean, that guy?

    Please.

Joe Farah, as far as News and politics goes, has about as much “Creds” as Perez Hilton!

    Creds…

    BAWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAW!
    :rotfl:

Keep ’em coming, that was TOO FUNNY!

  3. Well, at least give the officers the courage of their convictions. They believe they are honorable men following the demands of their oath. To think that they are unaware of possible consequences for themselves is without foundation. And, yes, it can lead to chaos if each person under oath has to make his or her own decision, but the vetting that should have been done was not. And, now the first part of chaos may be starting. Again, the problem is Soetoro’s/Obama’s by his refusal to prove his eligibility. When you find out the President of a university has falsified his resume, you do not retain him/her in the position. Nor should those who were responsible for verifying the contents of that resume be kept employed either.

  4. So, while some of these comment makers are beating up on common sense with long, childish attempts to ‘laugh’ at anyone questioning their “god” (Barry/Barak), why haven’t they just asked their “god” to put the matter to rest? I mean, even a self-deluded idiot would have to question why the novelty president has been willing to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to prevent his proofs from being made public (to his employers) rather than just turn the appropriate documents over and be done with it.

Common sense as well as judicial precedent dictate that when a ‘public servant’ refuses to answer a direct question–the assumption should be he/she has something to hide/is lying.

Insecurities drive the stupid to defend their outspoken support of this character, now that it is more than obvious that he is not who he said he was/is. That’s sad that petty ego corrupts the stupid.

  5. Barry says: “Common sense as well as judicial precedent dictate that when a ‘public servant’ refuses to answer a direct question–the assumption should be he/she has something to hide/is lying.”

Yes. Pretty plain and obvious. People, even psychopaths, rarely stonewall when there’s nothing to hide.

  6. Ya Know,

All of this wailing and gnashing of teeth could be avoided.

Just produce the long form of the original birth certificate.

No big deal. We members of the “great unwashed masses” have to do it all the time just to get by in this world.

You’d think it’d be required for the most powerful office on the planet.

  7. Yes, Paleo Pat, accredited! It is Les Kinsolving, WND’s correspondent at the White House, who is giving presidential press secretary Robert Gibbs problems at his briefings by keeping this Soetoro/Obama eligibility issue in front of the Nation. As you certainly know, you don’t into those gatherings without being accredited. Matt Drudge links to WorldNetDaily.com articles on a regular basis also. and, surely you don’t think his Drudge Report is not also accredited?.

  8. Anybody who calls the president Barry Soetoro is childish or a bigot. I just googled the name to see what the story was and it is very innocent. As a boy, he used these names. Barry as a nick name for Barack. Soetoro in reference to his step father who he was being raised by, thru junior high.

Feel free to respond with your reason for calling him by this name that is not childish (ignorant) or bigotted.

  9. If i were Major Cook, I’d choose court-martialling over (conscripted) military service any day. At least with a court martial, you’ve got an excellent chance of coming out alive and healthy, not something you can say about serving in one of their ghastly wars.

  10. Aaron says: “Feel free to respond with your reason for calling him by this name that is not childish (ignorant) or bigotted.” You misspelled “bigoted.” What is his actual legal name? Does anybody know? Please tell us your excuse for his not being open and honest about this matter? Why all the obfuscation and stonewalling? It reflects badly on him, so he must have a reason. What is he hiding and why? He is dismantling the republic and setting it on a sure course for deep failure. What are his motivations? As an American citizen, a natural-born one, to boot, I have a right to know the answer to this question.
