I am proud of Mr. Wilson calling it as it is. Democrats continually said Pres. Bush lies and no outrage was pumped through the press. There are definitely double standards through a democrat’s eyes. At the most, democrats were scolded and then it was over. Joe Wilson had read the 1000 pages and knows what the fine print said. Even at that, Congressman Wilson apologized and that should be the end of it.

Joe Wilson should only apologize at the end of a long list of real overdue apologizes, like from Charlie Rangle for his financial dealings, Pelosi for her many outrageous statements (most recently at the CIA), Leahy for accepting mortgage favors, Reid for calling Bush a liar, the Dems showing such disrespect in the 2005 State of the Union address, and on and on the long line forms, including even Obama himself about Bush in the 2008 campaign race. Otherwise, all this is only another political game of gotcha.

Congressman Joe Wilson yelled twice. He lied about being spontaneous. He will resign. As a Republican I have watched former Governor Sarah Palin lead our party down the drain. We will continue to lose more seats and offices because of her and Republicans like Joe Wilson. While he’s leaving office, he should take the Rebel Swastika flag of South Carolina with him. The South lost the Civil war and there’s no use flying its flag any longer. Mississippi’s Republicans should follow suit. Resign Joe. It’s over.
