I really did not want to bother writing about the man again. However, seeing that he seems to derive some sort of masturbatory thrill by mocking me and possibly sending me unwarranted web traffic, I will entertain this morally and spiritually depraved Neanderthal once again. In his latest missive directed towards me, he expresses amazement at the fact that I would attempt to dig up his real name and address, and post them to my blog. That, my friends, is one of the greatest equalizers in the business; I have seen many a “Shit Talker,” if you will, who find themselves wanting to behave like dressed down school children, when they find their personal information exposed.
What Ed Brayton will not tell you, is that he threatened me with legal action for posting the address. Some might think that I removed it because I was threatened; let me humbly submit that I am not afraid of this petty man at all, nor will I ever be. I removed it, because it was not his address, but rather one of his family members. This little pissing match is not between Ed’s Uncle and me, it is between Ed and me, and the ignorant sheep that read that rather lame blog of his. Even the bravest of warriors have honor and because of that, I did remove it. I wish no harm to come to anyone; including Ed himself. I do not wish him harmed, I see him as an overgrown errant schoolchild. I see him as someone who was beaten up by bullies in school, and who now, to feel somewhat important, he must mock others to feed his need to boost his own ego and look cool for his friends.
The formal name for what Ed has is called Napoleon complex or as it is called in circles of men of base mentalities — Small Man Disease. The best way to describe it is this, Ed is such a insecure person, that he feels the need to mock, make fun off and put down those around him to make himself look good. I have known many people that are like this; and it is quite the tragic thing to witness, because people that have this horrible problem repeat the same cycle continually.
When Senator Joseph McCarthy was carrying on his crusade against those of whom he was convinced by his own paranoia, were communists and out to destroy the Country; was asked rather passionately by a Democratic Senator, “Have you no shame, Senator?” Well, let me the first to say, that the last thing I want to perceived as, is some sort of crazed lunatic, who is on a paranoid witch-hunt against some man who, on the subject of on Religion or how this earth came to be, happens to disagree with me. When I originally left my rather tersely written comment, I figured that he, like anyone else, would ignore my comment, I never suspected in the million years that I would become the next “kick around toy” for this man; Which I find to be quite silly to be quite honest.
Ed Brayton is a free man in this great republic of ours; he is free to disagree with my viewpoint on politics and Religion, he is also free to mock me as well. Nevertheless, to be honest, I find all the attention rather silly. However, to be honest Ed, you have done quite a bit for my site numbers and I do thank you for that. Even if the attention was brought in a matter than I really was not to keen on, I am grateful for the nice site numbers that I am seeing.
Therefore, to end this rather formally written entry, I will say this. I am shutting the comments off on this one. Because I frankly want this whole back and forth to end, because I really feel that this sort of childish nonsense solves nothing. As for the question that one of Ed’s readers had about Dinosaurs, I could fit on the point of needle the interest I have in that subject. I was not here when they roamed the earth and I could honestly care less about what size they were. I have better and more important things to worry about; like the socialists who want to ruin our Country by enacting a nationalized healthcare plan, the expanding of our already oversized Government and the like.
Therefore, to you who came here looking for a Blog war; Sorry to disappoint, but I have better things to do than this. I hope you enjoyed this, but I really must move on to other matters. I hope that by me posting this, that we can call an end to this silliness, because I for one am ready to move on.
