First off, I have never, ever agreed with anything Tom Tancredo has done or said and have worked to defeat (politically) him and pretty much every Republican who’s ever run for elected office.

As I am not or never have been Mr. Tancredo’s psychiatrist I have no idea if his diagnosis of depression was real or fake. And if Mr. Tancredo wasn’t really suffering from depression and just used it as an excuse to avoid draft then that was a really crappy thing to do.

However, what Markos Moulitsas said to Tom Tancredo regarding his diagnosis of depression was absolutely unconscionable. All it did was cast into doubt the legitimacy of depression as a “real” illness (which it is).

So, although we will probably never agree on anything ever again, please know that there is at least one Liberal out there (me) who thinks that Moulitsas and his supporters out there in the blogoshpere hailing him as a champion are indeed, classless assholes.
