HotAir is doing a poll. I voted; Gibson is done. There is no way he can recover from this one. I mean, this is the second time he has done something like this. He career and any sort of credibility that he had is gone. I mean, this guy did a Christian movie and then this? He is done; he’s gone.
He snapped at some point and has been spiraling down ever since. I feel really bad for Robin and the kids.

I still hope Mel stars in “Mad Max 4” and stars in and directs that Viking epic. I don’t care about his personal life. We need all the good actors and directors we can get these days. So he has a bad temper and goes ballistic sometimes. It’s something a lot of Irishmen can relate to. I think he was setup bigtime by this Russian woman. Hollywood, please don’t ostracize Mel. He’s too talented. Besides we need a few actors with a genuine off-screen edge like we had mostly years ago — Steve McQueen, Lee Marvin, Oliver Reed, Richard Harris, Jack Nicholson. Today everybody and everything is too milquetoasty PC. Also, to anybody who reads this (especially if you are famous) with all these high-tech devices anymore that can take instant pictures and video from phones and easily tape and record other stuff, go on the assumption that you’re not even going to get any privacy. Some people are out for a quick buck and will try extorting money from you. Just don’t ostracize Mel. He goes ballistic and makes himself look bad sometimes — a lot of non-famous people do to. Losing one’s temper is a problem many Irishmen have drunk or sober.
