Yesterday, I sent out an e-mail to the group of people that I insulted and then apologized for doing so. This is what I got back:

Your apology is just another insult. Just how stupid do you think we are? The only thing that you’re sorry about is that you got caught and your anti-Semitism was exposed. You’re not sorry for hating the Jews or being stupid enough to blog about it.
If you’re really not an anti-Semite then your actions should demonstrate it. There’s a war going on now to initiate a second Holocaust. And Israel and the Jews are just the first in line. What are you doing about it? (I’m not Jewish, by the way. Most of NRB’s bloggers and the Freedom Center’s staff aren’t.) Maybe if you replaced all your ads with pro-Israel banners, replaced your tip jar with links directing people to donate to Jewish and Israel organizations, and started regularly running videos like these:
THEN we might find your apology more sincere. But until then you’re just a Jew-hating weasel trying to lie his way into a position of respectability within the conservative blogosphere.-David Swindle

Like I said, I apologized in public, if that is not good enough. Then to hell with you, David, and the two ladies that I took a swipe at.
Identity Politics in Conservatism is such a tragic thing.
I tend to believe that this will be the end of this Conversation. This above is my gripe with the identity politics crowd on the right. They are nothing more than bullies; well, this is one American Conservative, that is not going to be bullied —- not in this lifetime anyhow.
Mr. Swindle Continues:
Thank you for demonstrating conclusively that your apology certainly wasn’t sincere and that you’re filled with blind hatred. You could have replied with, “Sure, I’ll help raise awareness of anti-Semitism and post a few ads and donate buttons but I really need to bring in a little bit of revenue.” That would have been fine.
This isn’t about identity politics. I’ve got bloggers and editors who are Christian, Jewish, agnostic — all across the board. But we all recognize the importance of fighting anti-Semitism and standing up for Israel.And you can post this to your blog too.
You can talk all you want but until we see some action then you’re just an anti-Semite who no respectable conservative publication should link to.
